万剑山庄少主楚三郎，乃剑神楚仲庭之子，有妹楚湘儿及爱妻素芳。楚仲庭曾与独孤求败比武时将其推落山崖，后独孤求败有传人于峰前来报仇。楚仲庭又与杨正容有名利之仇，杨正容将素芳绑架，三郎赶去救援，被要挟斩断一臂，素芳为保全三郎而自杀。伤心的三郎离开山庄，渐与于峰成为朋友，又遇杨正容之妹杨咏雪和西夏公主宜妃，发展出另外一段感情。万剑山庄遭杨正容破坏，三郎帮助父亲重建山庄。最后众人又卷入小皇爷争夺王位的宫廷阴谋中，除了楚湘儿，所有人都牺牲了。。。。World War I is coming to its end.
