An industrial tow truck driver suffering from insomnia returns to his childhood home after the untimely death of his father, to discover that a paranormal presence has been living in the house and haunting the sacred land it was built on.。影片圍繞高中生紫英（金藝琳飾）與朋友拍攝「通靈視頻」參賽的故事展開。最初計劃虛構通靈過程，但因好奇心嘗試真實降靈術，最終觸發不可控的恐怖事件。敘事采用「實驗-失控-詛咒」的三段式結構，通過廢棄水箱場景的封閉空間營造壓迫感，逐步揭示「破壞規則」的代價。
