一个20多岁的女人几年来第一次回老家度假她不仅遇到故人而且还被迫处理未解决的感情。林楚凡是故人来客栈的老板，他是幻食师，擅长通过食物为客人编造“绮食之境”，让客人在“绮食之境”中解开心结。东篱是被林楚凡“黑心压榨”的伙计，负责前台、管家、服务员等一切活儿。林楚凡不断“治愈”着客人们的心理问题，然而随着客人们的来来往往，他开始觉得有些事情很奇怪，他能为客人们编织幻境，但却永远进入不了自己的“绮食之境”，好像也回忆不起过去的事情。一个叫笑笑的女孩到来，让他觉得似曾相识，笑笑脑中的女人似乎也和自己有着奇异的联系；他甚至发现他们似乎根本走不出这座山。发现东篱的真实目的与身份后，林楚凡惊觉眼前的一切都是东篱为自己编造的“绮食之境”，而笑笑只是自己在现实生活中失去的未婚妻的影子。他开始寻找回到现实世界的方法，而那个方法，从他和东篱的童年起就注定了。。James Robertson buys a painting depicting witches being burned at the stake, one of whom bears an uncanny resemblance to his wife, Chris.
