《老娘泪》的剧本源自两个真实案件。一个是四川的交通厅长，犯了受贿罪，他的母亲已经80岁了，她不知道儿子到底犯了什么罪，以为就是欠了钱，就带着孙子去卖花来还儿子欠的钱，让人很感动。还有一个是儿子成了黑社会分子，案发之后跑了，为了逃避法律制裁整容了。母亲花了三年时间走遍全国去找他，终于把儿子找了回来。。Michael Keegan-Dolan is one of the most remarkable choreographers working in dance and theatre today.
